Bevilacqua has been considered an authority on BDA programs within the Department of Defense community for over 10 years. Bevilacqua is currently authoring the Intelligent Battle Damage Assessment Station (IBDAS), which is being designed for implementation within the Joint Targeting Toolkit. IBDAS utilizes a correlation scheme based upon conceptual graphs, which forms the basis for the development of novel automated BDA tools. The process relies on the input of subject matter experts both for the requirements and for building the conceptual graphs. Through the use of Bevilacqua-developed AI technologies (the CORE toolset), assessments are made in a near-real time environment; it, therefore, has the ability to keep pace with the hyper-ops-tempo that current and future battles employ.
