Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) has been awarded prime contracts in two pools under the small business portion of GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) multiple award contracts.

These awards represent a significant opportunity for BRC to expand its customer base and bring its 22 years of technical excellence to bear in solving complex engineering and technical problems for agencies within the Department of Defense.

OASIS Small Business (OASIS SB), which could be valued at as much as $10B over its fifteen year contract life, is a government-wide professional services vehicle administered by the General Services Administration (GSA). Agencies that utilize the small business OASIS contracts to release task orders will receive credit toward their small business goals. The Air Force committed to leverage the OASIS SB vehicle for at least $500M in services, and is expected to issue task orders later in 2014 for support to the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), and Air Force Space and Missile Command (SMC).

BRC was awarded one of 43 prime contracts in pool 1 (Engineering Services) and one of 43 prime contracts in Pool 3 (Engineering for Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons).

Andy Bevilacqua, BRC’s President and Chief Technical Officer who will personally act in the capacity of BRC’s Program Manager for the OASIS contracts was quoted as saying, “These awards are significant awards for BRC because they open up new long-term opportunities with the Air Force and other Federal and State agencies that would have been difficult to compete for through other venues.”
